• Getting their excuses in early

Winston hadn't even announced his decision and he's telling us the economy's going to be taking a hit, and now Taxcinda's doing the same:

So at least they do understand their incoming policies are going to damage our enviable economy.

Yet they will proceed with them anyway.

Normally new governments start with a honeymoon period (National's lasted 9 years). I predict this clusterfuck won't get one at all.

Certainly not with the likes of you posting JohnO.

We have to remember that over the last 9 years The House did not have any effective opposition. This allowed National to stay mum.

Any change will have an affect some place else. It is the job of the
opposition to point this out. As we have have not had an opposition over the last nine years we all have got accustomed to a somewhat dead House.

This election has shown that the people are capable to banshing the minor parties. Winston (NZF) has to stay within the bounds of the voters saying
yes at the next election. Start playing up and upstetting the masses and NZF will rate well under 5% at the next election.

If Labour can get themselves into a team which can explain its actions and
not U turn more than average then their rating will go up.

At the last election, "Labour" voters got paniced by the uncertainty of what was coming from Labour. The great risk for Labour is that they are going to
get too eager over the 100 days in office theme and mess up.
