Winston's funny. Says NZ needs to do more for exporters. But his key policies will be the end of TPPA and will mean that primary producers won't be able to staff their farms when immigration is cut off. Don't think Winston actually asked any exporters
    what they needed.

I'm not surprised you'd stick up for the lying, self serving, bastard that is Winston Peters, Rich. You share the ability to lie at the drop of a hat.

you were going on about Labour not having a $10 billion shortfall in their budgeting. Well forming a coalition of losers with Winston and the Greens they will now have some thing like a $20 billion dollar shortfall with the grandiose
    plans of the idiot
left for high speed rail and new container ports with a need to double the tracks to Wangarei. Hope you like the idea of paying 35% tax on your primary income again like we did before Labour introduced GST! because we will along with a 20 or 25% GST to
pay for all the housing that'll not get built for about a thousand reasons....

    Labour! They've done us!

Well now we'll be able to see all those houses built and the hospitals >running at a profit /sarcasm mode off.
Peters has just spent the last three Parliaments voting with lieber so
    what's new

You are responding to the Pooh-troll, george - all piss and wind with
    no substance.

Your use of the perjorative "liebor" is just spin and you know it. The
real liars that come from the last nine years, and the recent election
campaign in particular, are National - capped off by the "Big Lie" of
Joyce and English, claiming a non-existent hole in Labours numbers.
That lie together with their lies about NZ First, Labour and the Green
Party were arguably enough to lose National their hope of government
yesterday, without all the other lies about their own policies and New Zealand's financial position.

Yes we wil see houses built, and yes that will require more skilled
immigrants. As for hospitals running at a profit, there you go
sticking to the National mantra - they deliberately ran down the
public health system to "encourage" more people to take out health
insurance and deliver profits to Bills mates in the doctor-owned
private hospitals. Yes they believed in making profit from health
services - for the private owners of hospitals competing with the
public sector, often using the same surgeons who were able to exploit
public sector shortages to deliver themselves greater profit through
their own facility. The rorts by the NAtional Party did not end there
however - they also developed Charter schools which were a thinly
disguised "profit opportunity" for private individuals and groups. I
suspect it was not just incompetence that meant that contracts were
agreed that did not require capital grants to be repaid is such a
school closed - what happened to the land paid for with government
money from one school that did not last long was carefully hidden from
the public; rumour was that it became a farm for one of the previous
    school owners . . .

So why you would want to make profit from hospitals says more about
    you than anything else, george

And as for voting records, look them up - you will be surprised at how
often Labout, NZ First and the Greens actually voted with National
over the last 9 years. Constructive opposition does not blindly vote
against everything; a lesson that I suspect National and its blind
    acolytes still need to understand.

Absolutely. We know that National had public servants prepare a report
on the best way to resolve water resource management issues through a
water tax - the new government will be able to benefit from that work
    - it is possible that they will agree with the proposals National were
having investigated, and we could have all members of parliament
    agreeing with National's proposed solutions!

Another area where National were working was on options for a regional
tax to meet requests from Auckland for additional funding of major
transport and infrastructure requirements - there again the new
government may well be able to introduce legislation based on that
work that National had in progress for solutions that all MPs can
    agree.

Six months and the interest rate will be 8-10% and growth in minus >quantities
You clearly haven't been watching what has been happening, george -
interests rates from quite a few lenders are over 30% on a nominal

He's *obviously* talking about mortgages. Your comments are idiotic.

basis, the "real" rate being much higher when charges are taken into

protection against such leeches who are drawing profit from the
desperation of people who have been abandoned by National with its
punitive changes to welfare systems. You do realise that real growth
has been static for some years now don't you george? Even with many immigrants buying their way into New Zealand productivity on a per
capita basis has been at best zero for some years - with it only being
kept up to zero by counting the housing bubble as real growth . . ..

What is it with these liebor kooks.
    They want more houses built.
That means more buyers and more mortgages.
It means the Reserve Bank has certain powers that limit the amount of
    money available for mortgages.
rich is talking about those scam merchants in Auckland who lend money at exorbitant rates to the poor and dispossessed.
One might ask as to why he knows about their interest rates
