Whichever parties form a government here, the reality is that we need
a fairer tax system. Compromises will be necessary, but here's hoping
that if we have National NZ First we do not go in the wrong direction
National wants - NZ First should veto the further cuts to income
taxes. If we have a L/G/MZF government, here is hoping that the GReens
and NZ First insistt hat some progress be made on a fairer overall tax
system - we now know that even National were investigating regional
fuel taxes and water taxes, but we also need stronger capital gains
taxes (despite rhetoric, we capital gains are taxable under some
circumstances - its just too easy to avoid for many owners)..

Perhaps you should go acquaint yourself with NZF policy, in particular:
    - Establish automatic inflation adjustment for PAYE tax thresholds to end ‘bracket creep.’ - that means tax cuts Dickbot.
    - Reduce Company Tax rates over three years to 25%.

NZF have no policy listed regarding National's legislated tax cut, but you are thicker that you appear if you believe National will go along with undoing their own legislation.

Labour have rejected CGT then reconsidered then got flogged for their vagueness
ahead of the election. They're so slippery on the subject nobody knows what they'll do next.

I do agree the unfair tax system needs to change. The top income earners are horribly over-taxed and the top 50% are over-taxed.

The top 3% of earners already pay a disproportionate 24% of income tax - FACT.

One in three households contributes ZERO income tax - FACT.

I have no problem with that change - it was effectively followed for
much of the terms of the previous Labour-led governments.

    - Reduce Company Tax rates over three years to 25%.
Compromises do need to be made - did you actually read the Guardian
Article - the IMF recommendations are for a raising of income taxes
    for the wealthy.

NZF have no policy listed regarding National's legislated tax cut, but you are

So you admit they will not do what is best for the country . . .

The left get flogged for anything by a media sympathetic to National -
just look at the stupidity in the media about the Greens at present.

Compromises are necessary under MMP hopefully your ignorance will not
    be a determinant factor . . .
