• The long drawn out Peters ego trip

    Here we go again.
Any chance the greens get sick of being sycophants and do a bit of
    demanding.
Without the Greens the unholy alliance doesn't have the votes

First of all, the Greens actually need have a face to face discussion with Winston. James has an almost impossible set of parameters to work within. I doubt Winston recognises this. But as sure as hell, Bill and his team are taking note and will adjust
    their negotiating stance accordingly.

Well they won't be, because Winston isn't having anything to do with the
    Greens.

All the Greens have to do is start talking to the Nats.
Peters depends wholly upon the Greens staying with Liebor otherwise he's
    out on his ear.
I imagine the Peters party might then start talking to the Greens

The trouble is, the Greens *can't* talk to the Nats. They've said all campaign that their goal is to change the government. It's not to advocate for the environment. It's not to advocate for the poor. It's to change the government. They've painted
themselves into a corner and Winston knows it. He'd never fall for their bluff.

Once again, through their own stupidity, the Greens are politically impotent and the plaything of Labour.

    Slow learners.

    Exactly right Gordon.
It's so frustrating to see the potentially virtuous Greens shoved aside by the dishonest, populist NZF

Since the last election the Greens seem to have completely lost their way,
    just about in every way.

The people who voted for the Greens want the environment to be taken care
of. So that is the Greens aim, even if it means talking to the Nats. The
Nats in turn can get power, and agree to modify some "green" legislation and point out to the country that they had to do this because of the Green coalition, not our idea.

Look, if the Greens coalated with National, it would still be a change of Government. In some ways it matters not who is in power but rather what the legisation is which goes in acts.

You cant talk sense to the ultra left.
Here is a great chance for them to actually get into government and get
some of their stuff into law.
Another three years in the wilds for them then
