They don't care if they kill someone - this post is nothing to do with whether 1080 is good or bad, it is only about low life losers who do this sort of thing, incidentally interferring with the rights of ordinary people to live their lives - got it Rich?

Clearly the attacks on vehicles are sheer stupidity - and detract from legitimate discussion about the use of 10180. (I have supported
limited and careful use of 10180 on an 800 acre block fairly close to
dwellings as part of a multi-pronged strategy to get rid of opossums
and other unwanted pests - but am concerned that it does not get
over-used or seen as the only solution in all cases. I have confidence
in DoC staff, but there have been times they have been pushed further
than they were comfortable with by politicians. That does not excuse
    criminal activity.

"The department has also informed police of one case where 1080 baits
were left in a letterbox at a DOC address.

"People have a right to lawful protest, but I will not tolerate anyone
putting my staff at risk as they go about their job of protecting our
    precious wildlife," Sanson said.

"We take any threats to DOC staff very seriously and are working with
the police to find those responsible." "

Let us hope that the police find the culprits quickly. Thanks for
drawing it to my attention, Tony - although how you are able to
identify the perpetrators as low-life losers beats me - if you really
have information about their identity you should tell the police.

Hardly surprising, you get easily lost.
They put people's lives at risk, therefore low life and being losers therefore likely. A reasonable opinion.
    - if you really
have information about their identity you should tell the police.
The rest of your pointless response is off topic.
