• it's a CRISIS!

From JohnO@3:770/3 to All on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 13:51:14
Just booked an AirNZ flight AKL-WLG tomorrow morning 7:45, back Friday afternoon 4:45. Peak travel time.

    No problem.

Out of interest, looked at AKL-SYD for same times. Flight over available, flights back full Fri and Sat. Looked at Qantas and there's several flights back.

So... nil impact on WLG and SYD travel on those examples.

    Some CRISIS!

All the aircraft flying between NZ and AUS could do SYD/AKL at least
    twice before refueling.
But it's all the Nats fault that a private company pipeline failed and
cut AKL down to only 1 million liters of Jet fuel a day...
    :)

LOL. So ironic to see the Greens complaining that the Nats didn't act to secure
the amount of fossil fuel pumped to Auckland. Those clowns are like a dog that barks at every passing car.

Party members would never have to do that, let alone Politburo members. That's >what the proletariat are for, in the Green party's socialist utopia.
There is an old story, possibly apocryphal, that Nikita Khruschev (may have been a previous chairman) when he wanted one of his politburo to quit would have that person delayed in the anteroom for a while and when they entered there was no chair left for them at the table. The story goes that the exalted ones would sit in silence until the now ex-member took the hint and left, presumably to be disposed of by a couple of large men with blank expressions on their faces. Communism has only ever worked for the briefest of times, always morphing into something ugly and inhuman almost immediately. There are always a small number of people in free societies like ours that still believe that it could work - bless them for they are sinners! My Dad used to say that Communism was a good idea that had no hope of working and he was a true Labour man of the old honest school; there are not many left.

Lenin, Mao, Pol Pot and Castro were very busy lining up their opposition against the wall from day one. It's how they roll. I even heard that the biggest mistake Chavez made was not executing the rich when he came to power. Guess who said that? Red Ken

    :)

LOL. So ironic to see the Greens complaining that the Nats didn't act to secure the amount of fossil fuel pumped to Auckland. Those clowns are like a dog that barks at every passing car.

Similar stories are told about many perceived dictators. Did something
like that happen when Winston Peters left National?

I made no comment about Kruschev - similar stories to the one you told
about him have been told about others. I agree that Kruschev was a
dictator, Muldoon is one of many that have been perceived as dictators
by some. We have not had any prime minister, or even any leader of a

There has never been a dictator in this country, not even Muldoon or Clark. For you to suggest otherwise is an indication of your predilection to lie and defame.
I did not suggest that any of our leaders were communist, why would you suggest otherwise?
The people of this country actually deserve a competent government. You on the other hand deserve only contempt!

Well they can call of any action then - of course it was all about you
JohnO - does anyone else matter?

Email from AirNZ to me today:

"Following on from the update provided on Monday, I’m pleased to say that Air
New Zealand’s schedule is now operating largely as normal as we continue to manage our way through the impact of Refining New Zealand’s temporary shut-down of its fuel
    supply pipeline to Auckland."

As I said before, some CRISIS!

Get your head out of your arse Rich. Clark was quite rightly accused of
it. The funny bit is I helped keep her in power for nine years and
admitted she was a deep red marxist!
