not the same people, as there has been an arrest in the helicopter
case - I too hope there is a conviction,

I don't have and have never had a problem with demonstrations that are signalled so that people can make alternative arrangements. The rabble I referred to were protesting against an armament conference and managed to prevent several coaches from delivering veterans and their supporters to the venue where the service was being held. There was no warning of the protest and therefore no police presence to ensure the safe passage of ordinary people going about their lawful (and advertised) business. If you think that sort of demonstration is OK then you do not care about the rights of other people, only your rights. Some years ago I was prevented, together with several hundred other people, >>from honouring the sacrifice of our war veterans by a rabble that were >>protesting against some imagined nonsense; just to get publicity. For a period of some years I participated in just such a demonstration

Don't be so hard on yourself, you fit the bill admirably; pretending to care and pretending to be even handed when you are clearly a shallow political hack that cares not one jot about this country. In allI suspect a few did come out in the Anzac parades for the few pounds

I always do, and I sleep well knowing that we have a country that tolerates people of diverse opinions, even someone like you!Is this what your New Zealand dream is? I think it just might be!I'm glad you are getting the dreams you deserve Tony.

And now the group that was protesting against the poison drop claim
that none of their members were involved in an argument with Nick
Smith, but are also claiming that they have been told that there was
no smearing of rat poison, or indeed any physical contact at all - and
that they understand a recording exists of the incident.
This story has some way to go . . .
