• Leaders debate.

Think Hosking did a good job!

After watching the leaders debate I wonder if we might see a
National/Labour coalition with Bill as PM and Jacinda as DPM. I had to
check the screen a couple of times to check who was speaking.

The amount of agreement Bill got from Jacinda was surprising but imo
showed she's not your typical marxist muppet or is it she hasn't been
corrupted by her puppet masters? Impressed me but still not convincing
enough to get my vote while the dirt is still clogging the Labour caucus.

If such a thing were to happen it would be a large step to NZ becoming
    a one party dictatorship.

She kept looking across to Bill almost as if she wanted guidance,
    acceptance or reassurance

    Yup.
The snowflakes were once again wrong.
Which, for them, is not an unusual state

On-screen it was an inter-generational contest like no other: vibrancy versus stultification with startlingly projecting overbite pitted against rapidly receding gums.

On-screen it was an inter-generational contest like no other: vibrancy versus stultification with startlingly projecting overbite pitted against rapidly receding gums.

The third participant in the three way debate was somewhat irritating.
Aftter his first compulsory "This is to show I'm not biassed" question (doubtless well signalled), he proceeded to talk over the other two, interupting Adern more than English, and forcefully giving his own
views when the others did not give the answers he was wanting from
them. For some reason the surveys only asked for "who one"from 2 of
the three contestants, with a points win to Adern, English slightly
behind, and Hosking a sad third. Time to get a real journalist to
chair (none of this "moderation"crap needed) for the nexzt debate.

It may be the debate or the polls, but the culture of personal
opinions replacing news continues, culminating in this: http://www.nzherald.co.nz/opinion/news/article.cfm?c_id=466&objectid=11915171

Nice to get an apology, but wouldn;t it have been better if instead of interviewing her own opinions she had actually done some real
    research?

If Hosking is used for the next "debate", let us hope he sees that it
would be better to hear less of him and more of the party leaders. I
won't hold my breath for that one!
