OK so when he has killed off half of Korea and put the Chinese on a war footing he will use whatever is left of his military to attack Venezuela, never mind that the USA has zero right to admonish Venezuela.
For goodness sake, someone get him under control!
All Trump supporters have to be questioning his ability to do the job, surely! Tony

How should Trump deal with Kim Jong Tubby? Perhaps he could send a
missile to the tubster filled with with copies of Peace For Our Time.
Do you think that will help?

    Bill.
No, why would you think it would?
I believe that adding threats to threats is plain idiocy, they have to talk >either directly or indirectly (using China would make sense). It is actually >that simple!

There is always behind the scenes dialogue. China is as much to blame
as the porker. Who was it that supplied NK with the expertise to get
their nukes? Incidentally China has told Fatboy and his pals that they
are on their own if they attempt a first strike on the US or one of
their allies. What the US should do is to put the nukes back into
South Korea and also deploy some to Japan.

Time for statesmanship not threats of fire and fury, but Trump is incapable of >that.

Who was it that said "Diplomacy is to do and say, the nastiest thing
    in the nicest way"?

Decades of "statesmanship" and appeasement have failed, and it is now
time for some plain speaking. For all his faults, Donald Trump is
sending the right message. What would Clinton have done? Answer: She
would have weaseled around with diplomacy and appeasement just like
Obama did with the Iran deal, and this would have further emboldened
KJ Tubby. Iran will be next; watch this space. However, I suspect that
Israel will be far less tolerant of Iranian nukes than the US has been
    with NK nukes.

    Bill

What abject nonsense, of course it does something, if his support dies enough there will be change! Please try to understand logic and the way the real world works.
Ignoring the Trump problem which is what you both appear to suggest is cowardice and shows how little you care about humanity; even the tiniest voice has an impact when added to a million other tiny voices. But feel free to bury your collective heads in the sand - I am sure everything will be OK without you bothering yourself about it.

I am not at all religiously bigotted, but you are obviously very thick! Or perhaps simply an asshole, yes I think that is it.

But now, and right on cue, and as if perversely to tempt me, the online Herald's shock banner headline this morning proclaims that a recently opened tunnel in Auckland is to be shut for a night or two to carry out maintenance.

No, you may not expect that. I am not into hair triggers; indeed I am inclined to consider carefully and prefer to focus on the message rather than finding some over-the-top way of delivering it which usually includes nastiness. Interesting that Rich accused me of attacking the messenger when that is something that he has turned into an art form!

How should Trump deal with Kim Jong Tubby? Perhaps he could send a >>>missile to the tubster filled with with copies of Peace For Our Time.
Do you think that will help?

    Bill.
No, why would you think it would?
I believe that adding threats to threats is plain idiocy, they have to talk >>either directly or indirectly (using China would make sense). It is actually >>that simple!

There is always behind the scenes dialogue.
Yes of course there is, I stand by my view that threat and counter=threat at that level is going to achieve nothing good. Even China and other countries seem to agree.

Time for statesmanship not threats of fire and fury, but Trump is incapable >>of
    that.

Who was it that said "Diplomacy is to do and say, the nastiest thing
    in the nicest way"?
Statesmanship and diplomacy are very different things.

Decades of "statesmanship" and appeasement have failed, and it is now
time for some plain speaking. For all his faults, Donald Trump is
    sending the right message.
It is not the message that is wrong it is the method of delivery. Trump could easily have made it clear, using whatever channels he wishes, that he won't be pushed but no, he had to threaten the man and NK in public. That is what I disagree with.
