Well folks there goes the Dairy industry.
    And the beef and mutton.
    All down the tubes.
It takes a dairy cow in milk production around 18 to 25 gallons of water
    a day.
Beef, around 12 gallons per day and sheep, around 5 to 8.
    As for irrigation forget it.
For cereal crops, wheat and barley be prepared to pay 3 to 5 times the
current price for bread and beer.
Milk will cost $5-6 for a liter and as for the block of cheese be
    prepared to get an overdraft..
    Well done liebor

Yep if this goes ahead we'll be known as the Venezuela of the south
pacific as no one will be able to afford to buy any food here and
exports of food will dry up for the same reason unless Liebor heavily subsidize the export industry,

No need to panic just yet. Yes, the Kiwi camel's legs may be short and overly
hirsute, but his equally hairy back is broad and sturdy and still has a few more straws to go...

So why not look on the bright side? Indeed, with New Zealand's growing and self-validating obesity and diabetes - traditionally the surest sign of prosperity - what better indication could there be of a generously remunerated gourmet nation than the
increasing prevalence of its diseases of the wealthy?

So, that pitiful, half-desiccated, tennis-ball of a broccoli head you've just seen priced at $2.75? You can afford it. And anyway, you know you deserve it!

    Happy dining!

Not to mention fruit and vegetables are liable to go up by three times.
    Anyone for an $18 cabbage?
