Bleating about it here is a waste of time.
    Tony

Thank you for your concern that the police may not be aware of
potential criminal actions, but I suspect that the article in a daily >>>newspaper is just as likely to reflect opinions held - either
prevopus to reading the article or now that they have read it - by a >>>large number of others, including some closer to the police than I am.

If you actually cared you would follow up. I know that I always follow up on >>things that I believe are important. So my advice is "put up or shut up"

Tony you are being a bit direct with Rich here - but with Rich's
    posting history this is understandable.
Crash, I have been uncharacteristically hard on Rich on occasion for a long time.
There have been times when I regret that but mostly I believe he brings it on himself.
I prefer intelligent, honest debate but that is not his style.
The only bleating I see on nz.general is from those trying to shut
down conversation - I expect there to be more such sentiments as the >>>election draws nearer. Truth is of course always worth discussing, and >>>while intelligent people like yourself continue to clearly value such >>>discussion of course it is worth posting.
That is non-sequitur and mildy amusing. If someone is trying to shut down >>conversation they would not be indulging in it. N'est ce pas?
The election has little to do with conversation, but a lot to do with >>rhetoric!

I would be a bit more direct - Rich's posting motivation has little to
do with general interest and everything to do with anti-National
rhetoric. His byline is 'this government has to go'. Unfortunately
he ignores the issue of a credible alternative.
I sincerely wish we had a strong and principled opposition - I don't see it anywhere just now, but the posturing is interesting if not edifying.

Relating to other jurisdictions is pointless because our laws are very

operate otherwise then get the law changed - talk to your MP\!

while intelligent people like yourself continue to clearly value such discussion of course it is worth posting.

No Rich. The only bleating and killing of threads are yours. Truth is
something your incapable of comprehending or having an intelligent
    discussion about.
