The descent into a privatised, expensive and discriminatory health
system continues under Coleman and the National Party. At one time MRI
machines were seen as being available for hospitals to help at peak
periods - now they are avaialble for the wealthy to get around much
poorer services for those that cannot afford to pay the costs of
private care - the DHBs just cannot afford to provide the level of
care that they used to, but an uncaring government is fixated on
reducing costs for services t help people in favour of tax cuts for
the wealthy . . ..
