A letter from Housing NZ that came with the information was not passed
on to Stuff, until Housing Minister Amy Adams provided it.

In it, Housing NZ's asset development general manager Patrick Dougherty
said the figures were outdated, only intended to be an indication, and
not reflecting "Housing NZ's planned activity".

Adams said Housing NZ was clear the data was obsolete.

That data had since been superseded by Government instructions, telling
Housing NZ it could only sell properties where there was falling demand
and they were not needed for emergency housing, she said.

It's funny how Rich can't believe Labour practices dirty politics when
they practice this sort of politics.
