    I recommend Luminos dentists.
Just got back from the friendliest dentistry I've ever been to

They've been buying up dental practices all over the place.

Have you not heard of Murphy's Law.

Have you not heard of Murphy's Law.

In this case, Murphy's Law states: "he more you centralise, the more you profit," since centralisation implies standardisation and conformity (which, I would anyway have thought is exactly how New Zealanders like it, even down to their insipid
standardised "beer," whatever its shouty labelling may tell you.)

So look out for your McDentures coming down the track, followed smartly by one-tint-does-all McCaps and McCrowns.

And all too soon, with the competition wiped out, you'll be facing that all too
    familiar wallet-drainer:

    McRipoff.

Setting up a dental practice costs a six figure sum for the chair and all other
equipment needed. So retiring dentists would hope to receive a similar amount for their practices but there are probably insufficient junior or employee dentists who can
afford to buy such practices. Outfits like Lumino can raise the appropriate capital to buy or set up practices and can benefit from economies of scale and 'hot chairing' which ordinary sole practitioners or small partnerships cannot.

There is also the repayment of student loans - that has made dental
charges jump, but again it doesn't help a new dentist find the capital
to buy a practice. There must be a generation of retiring dentists
that have profited well though; once student loans are paid, a dentist
income is significantly higher in real terms, even as the market has
dropped due to younger generations having grown with flouridated
    water.

Abano Healthcare have done well. We can expect to see corporatisation
of other parts of our health system.

I can attest to that, it is cheaper by far than it was a few years ago and the quality of service is terrific.
