Interesting that the Green party can get away with calling a bribe for
work a 'tithe'. Now if a business expected that from their workers
they'd have the Commerce Commission, Police and several unions knocking
their doors down. But because it's a bunch of left wing numptys it seems
it's okay. Is it one rule for some and another rule if your a bunch of
marxist muppets trying to polute the country with bullshit?

There was a worse case. A company renovated houses but was short of capital, so
it was agreed that everyone would mortgage his house for a few months in turn to secure a loan for the business. It was the next guy's turn, he went to the lawyer to arrange
it and the lawyer said 'Do not do this, you are at risk of losing your house - Don't!'. But peer group pressure was so strong that he agreed to the mortgage against the lawyer's advice and the lawyer did the paperwork. The company went fut and he lost
his house. He tried to sue the lawyer without success.
At least the Green MP's did not lose everything. Their take home pay (after tithe is paid) is far more than they could ever earn in the real world.

Do you have any evidence of that, peterwn? I suspect there are MPs in
most parties that earn significantly less as MPs than they previously
earned, and others that earn more.

That's only liable to apply to Labour MP's Rich. Most of them have only
ever been on benefits. Or bludging off the workers like Little.
