It seems tourism is now New Zealand’s No 1 export earner. If only dairy could
match it dollar for dollar, but there it is – somehow you just can't have it all.

Just as with the dairy/environment and immigration/housing conundrums (crises?), tourism is now outstripping this country’s ability to accommodate it.

Meantime, the Queenstown lakes and mountains are alive with the clamorous yakker of the Renminbi, while up-country, as powhiri and poi are dutifully performed to their scheduled rosters, the trinket stalls of Rotorua ring to the
    merry sound of the Yankee
    dollar and Brexit pound.

We really don’t know how lucky we are, do we?

Yet still that ol’ voodoo word just keeps coming back to haunt us, doesn’t it?

    Infrastructure.

So, how’s it all coming together, and who's taking from whom to pay for it?

What are you babbling about? Why would it be important for one to match the other?

Only the dimwits and media believe these are crises.
, tourism is now outstripping this country’s ability to accommodate it.

So it will self limit until capacity increases. Only the dimwits would compulsively squawk "CRISIS" at this.

    Excellent. All good foreign revenue.

Yep. It's a great place to live alright.

    Haunt? Not really.

It doesn't take you long to switch over your whinge subject does it, Keith? Just grab the good news of the day and moan about it.

It golden eggs started popping up out of the ground tomorrow you'd immediately be whinging about that, you poor miserable thing.
