Great stuff, I know several young couples who have recently bought a modest house in an area that is reasonably priced and yet safe and are happy to travel an hour to work (some leave home at 6am to avoid traffic or secure parking at the railway station). I did all of that when I was newly married. Good to know that there are still plenty of young people that do not have an entitlement attitude.

A family in Auckland got themselves into a cheap house in Auckland last
week. They had to rethink the budget to raise the deposit which they did
by several thousand dollars. Only goes to show that where theirs a will
    theirs a way.
