I thought his little adventure against Israel would have (as it did) an
    effect on the polls.
And the little man must have established a record for polling
    consistently at 7%

National were 50% in the previous poll which was probably 2-3% higher than reality. As is usual the poll bounces around just as it always has and you can look back and see plenty of 46% and even 45% results in the past.

You've been drinking too much Whaleoil Koolaid if you think Israel has anything
to do with it. The number of voters in NZ that could give a stuff about Resolution 2334 is insignificant. In fact the number who even know what it is is insignificant.

Frankly I was expecting polling in the low 40s so there's hope yet
Indeed 22% again sounds about "Right"!

It's close to what Labour have been averaging.

WO is the *only* commentator that is endlessly banging on about it.

Muzzy McCully pissed off a lot of people and over a holiday where the PM

A lot of people? Like 100? I personally think the support for the resolution was idiotic but I the number of people who are upset about it is effectively nil in electoral terms. And who would they move their vote to? No alternative party has made any
noise about it. They certainly aren't going to move to left wing Hamas loving parties. The vote isn't going to move to Labour or Greens. Winston's not interested in it. Yet Labour went up 2% in that poll.

So no, resolution 2334 has had zero effect on that poll. Non issue.

Yeo, they are so hopeless they can't even make something out of it when the Nats do hand them a gift. It's because they are so beholden to minority interest groups, in particular, unions.
