    What with unemployment hitting the levels of 2008 and predicted to drop
    further and minimum wage rising to $15.75 for adults and the polls
    showing National maintaining it's popularity without Key as leader. Next election must be looking fairly bleak for poor widdle Rich and his
    widdle buddy Little.

    The minimum wage has only just gone up. Not enough time to see if it's
    made any difference yet. Though you need to remember the minimum wage
    has been going up every year since Labour got tossed. Many of those
    years unemployment has continued to drop. But then National has never
    shown the stupidity of Labour and banging it up by twenty-five percent
    while killing youth wages. THAT had a definite effect on unemployment
    for both youth AND adults!

    Not enough known variables to solve that equation, Gordon. For all we know, if the Nats didn't increase the minimum wage, unemployment could have dropped further.
