I think the article's headline "One of Donald Trump's first moves in the White House strips women of abortion rights" grossly misreports what is going on: "The policy enforces a ban on providing federal money to international groups that perform
    abortions or promote the option."

Typical shit reporting by the MSM.

However the article makes mention of "emergency termination" being unacceptable and that is what I find repugnant. I have never supported abortion as a form of contraception in normal relationships but following rape or as a result of medical emergency it has to be an option surely?

Women and their doctors will continue to do what they think best. If Trump
has cut off funding other sources of funding will be found.
He has not brought in an outright ban on abortion. Heaven help him if he
    tries that!
But politicians should stay out of medical controversies.

    Geopelia
I agree Abortion should not be a political issue, it is a medical and ethical one.
And doctors have often done the right thing even in cases where abortion was illegal.

In New Zealand it depends how many woman it takes for them to be considered women.

If you've been watching the left can supply overtly morbid obese women
    by the thousands.
That is, if they're not protesting, screaming their chubby little faces
off or claiming they are beautiful...

So perhaps the plural,'woman'(sic),is code for obese lefty lardasses?

That is, if they're not protesting, screaming their chubby little faces
off or claiming they are beautiful...

But New Zealand's culture of wilful obesity is now normalised right across the board irrespective of party politics, status or income. To normalise is to deny.

Which reminds me - does rabid leftist Paula Bennett still have to pass through doors sideways? Just wondering.

No. Most women in NZ are okay. The ones I know are fantastic. And if you
want creatures getting through doorways sideways go to the US.
There is a video of one in a wheelchair stalled in a doorway. To much
    lard to little power
