• 'Bogus' polls coming thick and fast for Labour

From JohnO@3:770/3 to All on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 11:31:17
    In the last week:
Colmar Brunton: Natonal: 50.0%, Labour: 29.0%
Roy Morgan: National: 49.5%, Labour: 23.0%

Naturally bogus! I'm sure Angry little Andy will release a screenshot of their own paid-for UMR polling any time soon to prove this.

    ...

    Andy?

    ...

    <sound of crickets chirping>

None of this surprises me given what we've seen from slow learning Labour over the last 9 years: nothing but negativity and identity attack politics. An unappealing charisma-free union bully for a leader imposed by the unions against the wishes of the
caucus. Supported by a chattering twitterati echo chamber of lefty academics, unionists and minority issue pushers.

At 23% in an election Labour would all but one of their list MPs including Parker and Adern leaving only the angry little one. National could attempt to gift Labour an electorate seat to pop Little as well... but why would they - he's a gift to them!

How else could Labour make it as high as 23% ?

    ........

The only poll that matters is the one on election day.

Be sure to use your vote. It's the one day when the people have the power.
Who to vote for? That's YOUR choice.

I doubt she'd be interested or wanted by the types of people running Labour at the moment. She committed a form of treason by advocating for TPPA.

I agree. Shearer is quite likeable. Far more-so than Cunliffe or
Little. And he's improved out of sight in interviews etc from his early
    days.

Yes it is extraordinary that at this level of party support, if they
win one more electorate seat they would be the first major party to
have no list MPs - meaning that at least temporarily their
Parliamentary leader would not be an MP.

Oh dear how sad to bad never mind..
Watched Parliament the other day and there is no real opposition.
Questions asked of ministers are repeated two or three times no doubt
    expecting different answers..
And the deputy Liebor accused a National member of lying but no-one
bothered to jump up and down about it and the Speaker didn't shut her off.

At least National tend to bribe us by letting us keep more of our own money. Labour's bribes normally consist of them promising to confiscate more of our money so they can give us something that we don't need or won't use. I know which I'd prefer.
