However from the Wikipedia article:
" It ended with Clark labelling Campbell a "sanctimonious little
creep" due to what she considered the ambush style of the
interview.[4] The Broadcasting Standards Authority (BSA) later ruled
that the infamous "Corngate" interview was unbalanced, unfair and
lacked impartiality and objectivity."
John Key has learned from Clark being ambushed - he refuses to ever
get himself in that position - but then he refuses to answer questoins honestly too.
Any comparison of Clark and Key will indicate that standars have
reduced since he became prime minister.

Zealand, but what also distinguishes him is his ability to confidently
lie, mis-interpret and ignore facts. To pretend that all politicians
are the same is the last refuge of the Key-apologists - whatever
horrendous things he has done - they are all the same!; except that
they are not. Helen Clarke would have been eviscerated by the media if
she had lied, dismissed Treasury figures, and avoided questions to teh
extent Key did in that interview!
Get help Dickbot.
I do not recall that
You will no doubt recall Helen Clark referring to John Campbell as a low >>>> down smarmy, slimey little good for nothing prick' or something like
that for asking a question without advance warning.
I believe the word she used for John Campbell was "creep". And she was right.
Select ive memory or are you just lying, Dickbot. It was all over the news
arse and google "helen clark john campbell sanctimonious little creep"- do you have a cite?
Don't be such a lazy ignorant dimwit, Dickbot. How about you get off your fat

Yep, gone through the worm hole.

He is certainly a polished performer - he is confident for all the
questions he knew were coming (he doesn;t do interviews without
knowing the questions first), he doesn't believe any inconvenient
facts, Treaury forecasts cannot be trusted but results have been
better than the facts show and will be in future, and there are no
promises on anything but it will all be good in the end . . .
He has a constant smirk/smle just to show he is never unhappy, the tie
is properly tied, the make-up professional, the line of the suit
flattering. What's not to like - - - in a consumate conman?

There were slogans for everyone there - if you are a Trump-type he is
irreverant to the "establishment' experts (after all opinion with a
smile is enough - certainly better than experts!) . Then the smooth
"overstatements" - if you really think all beneficiary families got a
$25 a week increase then there are a few bridges you may want to buy .
. .. In talking tax he nver includes GST, which hits those on a low
income proportionatley harder, and higher Working for Families is code
for higher subsidies for employers to those who realise its effect
inkeeping wage rates down . . . Its all stuff the future - the only
thing that matters is votes in 2017 . . .
Good to see some real questions being asked
MWAHAHA to think poor wee Wichie actually believes the bullshit he posts.
Pooh
