    Sadly its the norm.
    Went to a particular Art Gallery in Wellington years ago and the
    exhibits appeared to be broken birds nests and the real art was
    partitioned off from the public...

    The same thing happened some years ago. A pile of "Art" in a gallery was removed by the cleaner. Remember the fuss?

    Just now I have two bags of rubbish on the doorstep waiting for me to go outside and bin them.
    If the cats get into them what a great work of art it will be! "Feline Fancies". What am I bid for them?

    To avoid your great artistic piece being junked, put it in a frame and hang
    it on the wall.

    As for birds' nests, our blackbird likes to rip up old plastic bags to
    decorate the outside of his nest. They could look good as exhibits.
