    So to summarise: the population pressure is not coming from Indian students, or
    Chinese speculators. It is from New Zealand citizens and "permanent residents" deciding that NZ is better than wherever they are and returning home.

    Populist/xenophobe politicians such as Twyford and Winston won't care about this truth of course and will continue to vent their racist views in the fight for the redneck vote.

    In Peters case he'll be doing the missing in action until he thinks
    Maori have forgotten his latest trick.
    Faulted Phil will be there still asking the same question repeatedly
    expecting some sort of breakthrough.
    And Kiwis will still be coming home
