It's quite simple: stop being negative, dismal whiners and appeal to the positive instead. Relentless whining about the crisis du jour and how bad it is
in New Zealand is a turn off, especially given that most voters actually think it's great in New
Zealand.
Unfortunately however, Labour are unable to learn this lesson. Their leadership
is locked into permanent negative attack mode by a selection process that guarantees a union bully as leader.
It's a shame. Lack of opposition gives the incumbents a free pass to coast to their next election victory.
