    .... keeps growing.

Recently added: a $1.3 billion light rail project, and "living wage" for council staff.

Yet he has promised he won't raise rates more than 2.5%. You know, like Lyin' Len did.

So why on earth would anyone believe a word Goff says? He's just Len all over again but hopefully without the peccadilloes.

And, best of all, on course to be your next Mayor. Let your joy be
    unconfined!

Meanwhile, with John Key's "Brighter Future" remaining as remote from
reality as it only ever could, take a look at where the bugger's

Must **really** suck to be an Aucklander.

Not this time after what he tried to do to Brown last time. The guy
should have been tarred and feathered and run out of town.. Oh wait
he did run out of town.. Vic Crone I think this time.. Hopefully she
will have some ability to cut costs..

Your compulsive obsession with John Key really has the better of you, doesn't it. We're talking about local body elections here, but you just couldn't help yourself. Sad.

take a look at where the bugger's
muddle that is Auckland ranks in PWC's latest "Cities of
    Opportunities" Index.

Can't be bothered but if you look on the internet for various city quality rankings you'll generally find Auckland above Wellington, as you well know.

Must **really** suck to be an Aucklander.

For an old geezer you sure are childish. I'll put that down to diminished capacity.

should have been tarred and feathered and run out of town.. Oh wait
he did run out of town.. Vic Crone I think this time.. Hopefully she
will have some ability to cut costs.

First, she'll need to prove she can do rather better than her current
8% polling. Some serious work on her unrelenting motormouth squawking
would be a priority, the impression being that she will listento
    no-one but herself.

It also remains to be seen how helpful the de-feminising of her given
name to the distinctly masculine 'Vic' will be.

With Goff around and at 32%, this election is about calm, elegant
deportment and measured vocal delivery - IOW, class and gravitas. So,
if "Vic' she is to be know as, then hopefully she'll also be giving a
lezzie No 2 crop, nose rings, tongue-studs and dungarees a miss.

Did he say if that rise was going to be annually or weekly?
