• Australian Rugby Union

From Tony @3:770/3 to All on Saturday, August 27, 2016 23:33:13
I am saddened at the decline in the last year or so of Aussie Rugby Union. I am even more saddened at the way their coaching/management staff are behaving.
A false accusation that our coach met with the referee contrary to the rules. A silly statement to the press over the bug in the meeting room - the entire statement was silly but it was beautifully put into perspective at the end when their coach suggested, not very subtly, that the All Blacks may be paranoid - paranoia is a false belief that something is amiss; on this occasion it was not false and therefore by definition cannot be paranoia. So far as I know no-one has accused the Australians of planting the bug; it could easily be related to betting.
As for the so called eye gouging incident, anybody who believes it happened should look at the replay - there was nothing to it.
Oh and the referee apparently ignored the Aussie captain - well that may be so but come on boys it is a profession, a job of work - talk to the RFU people not the press!
It reminds me of the poor behaviour by the Aussie cricket team over tha past few years. Sad really!
Oh by the way Rich and Victor this is actually about Australian Rugby Union "governance" there are no political undertones to my post except in the eyes of the truly paranoid!
