The sooner we can have a justice system that notonly determines guilt
and punishment, but anindependent part of it looking for the faults,
the wrongs done through that system, and works to correct he faults
and compensate for the wrongs - without the political "pragmatism" of
uncaring politicians the better.
He finishes with: "What we have now is an outcome pleasing no one, two
reports contradicting each other, an indefensible process and an
apparent admission from the top that it's not justice or principle
that rules but pragmatism." . That's this National government in a
nutshell - no principles, just "pragmatism."
