Big claim so from whence are they going to get the chippies
Or the plumbers or the sparkies.
Or the cheap land in Auckland or cheap materials so they can 'build
    affordable houses' in Auckland

Or more importantly: the money to do this.

All ready trained and raring to go.

Or the plumbers or the sparkies.

All clued up with certificates and pliers.

Or the cheap land in Auckland

More cheap land in Auckland than you'd know what to do with.

or cheap materials so they can 'build affordable houses' in Auckland

Let Fletcher's be your friend, eh?

Also, cheaper when loan to income ratio is set to a commonsense 3:1.
Easy peasy. Forget imbecilic nonsense like LVR and the rest of the
government's moonshine. It's merely a desperate government in panic
    mode, e.g. Bennett's failed $5,000 bribe.

No need when the self-evident is staring you in the face.

The Reserve bank has fucked up utterly on inflation and interest
rates. Immigration has been rampant and foreign money has bid up
property to the point that Kiwis are effectively all but excluded.
Since John Key supports and exacerbates the entire fiasco 100%, if you
don't like it have a go at him.

No government or parliament currently in evidence. This can only mean
they think they have it all sorted, so there's no need either for them
or for people like you to stress at all, is there? Or maybe the
clueless fucks have simply run away from the disaster that they alone
    have permitted to happen.

Or more importantly: the money to do this.

Borrow it like New Zealand always does because honest hard-working
Kiwis are completely failing to make a go of building their own
economy. In fact they're being actively discouraged 24/7 from doing
so by John Key and his mob.

The inconvenient truth is that Kiwis (known for decades in the N
Hemisphere as apathetic lotus-eaters) have been asleep on the job for
the past 40 years at least; and, indeed, why not when there's stuff
like WFF and taxpayer- funded landlord subsidies to be had for the
    taking?

Now you don't have to lie in here.
Just point out how many carpentry firms have apprentices in their last
    year....

Or the plumbers or the sparkies.

    Wrong. But you know that

More cheap land in Auckland than you'd know what to do with.

Let Fletcher's be your friend, eh?

So you think that building materials that have to be sourced from
overseas are somehow cheaper if you go to Fletchers ?
    Really ?????????

The greens want to devalue housing by 50%
So the $1,000,000 mortgage you took out to buy a $1,000,000 house is
still costing you the rate of a $1,000,000 house that is now only worth $500,000

Liebors front man waves screeds of paper in frustration because he knows
that were his lot to get into power they can do no more than currently
    is being done..

They're going to get the chippies and such to immigrate here by offering
higher wages george (though whether that will trickle down is
debatable). They'll get the land by taking it under the public works legislation. As to the materials they won't be worried about the cost of
them or all the other increased costs the dream is going to cost.
They'll just increase taxes back to 28% as it was when Labour brought in
GST and we'll all help pay for the sudden drop in the economy because of
house prices dropping through the floor. It's simple. For all except the
loopier left like Rich and angry Andy. But as the policy (like all
Labours policy's) is only set in quicksand it won't be a problem till
about 2023 or later when the bubbles burst.

Poor widdle Keith. Obviously deep in his cups again. According to a
couple of chippies of my acquaintance it's bloody hard to find tradesmen
these day for ordinary builds. When I mentioned angry little Andy's plan
    they both cracked up:)

Keith can be as silly as Rich with his dreams george.

To hell with the destruction of people equity. Labour/Green probably
think all home owners are all just Rich pricks and deserve to see their
equity in their house disappear faster than a Labour policy.
