Or water cannon. Most of the rent-a-mob looked like they need a wash anyway so

I can remember New Zealands attitudes to businesses in Capetown hosing
their steps to keep homeless and beggars from sitting on them.
I can also remember a much more moderate reaction to a protest which
could have been dangerous in New Zealand a few years ago: http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=3521866
No adequate response will be possible while our government continues
to subsidise our dairy industry by exempting it from actions to fulfil climate change agreeements they have signed, and expempting them from
paying for the degradation of rivers and beaches. The treatment of
Dairy under National is one of the prime examples of crony capitalism
- I guess you would see that as a succesful protest - "Right," JohnO?

Actually I think dairy farmers should abide by the same pollution rules as anyone else in NZ. So stick that where the sun don't shine, fuckwit.

Would that be legal, EMB?
Of course we now know that there were no arrrests, and the police
believe that protestors were generally well behaved. The police have
carried out extensive identification of people involved - what they
will do with that information is not known, but perhaps you have
thoughts on that as well - ?
