It is a bit of a laugh - they are of course Gower's words - as you
know "presenters" are not journalists, and they are inclined to take
sides - like Paul Henry, Gower sees knows that it pays to be on the
winning side, and that is not the government regarding housing.

with the state of the housing market in some NZ cities is yet to
register in the polls. This is one of many:

While in 2016 National's popularity has slipped 1.5% to 45.5%, Labour
have gained 2%, the Greens have lost 2% and NZF have gained 3%. Your
claim that "National has pissed off most people" is not reflected
here. There may well be many voters pissed off about housing issues
but this is not impacting National's support much.

The opposition parties are, so far, failing to win significant voter
support from National. Nothing new here.
