• Another reason why we should not give 16 yo's the vote

From JohnO@3:770/3 to All on Thursday, June 02, 2016 16:00:08
... as many lefties would like to do:

Because 16 year olds would be more likely to vote for dumb shit like this:

Seems the lefties in Switzerland are as stupid as the local NZ variety.

Ridiculous beyond belief. Good luck Switzeralnd.

I think the perfect compliment to giving free money away would be to throw their borders open to immigration. All the more happy customers to give money to!

It's amazing that people should even be allowed a say in what happens to someone else's money.

By "people" I mean everyone. Being elected doesn't give you any more right
to someone else's money than if you were not elected.

Not much point in being elected without some community funding such as
taxes. I don't object to tax. I do object to excessive tax or unfair
    taxes e.g. progressive tax.

Sure, but "community funding" doesn't require extortion. It shouldn't rely
on diluting our liberties by forcefully taking our property.

I don't object to tax. I do object to excessive tax or unfair
    taxes e.g. progressive tax.

Ditto. From what I read in what accounts for our local news there are quite
a few who think that "fairer" means "more progressive". I never understand
how people think that a more biased and prejudiced system can be fairer.
