    Hosking simply told the truth that there should not be unelected iwi representation on councils. Nothing wrong with that.

    Hell yeah! Everyone needs a representative. So under those rules pariament should have people appointed (like Little) rather than bugger around with

    Her comments are irrelevant and her opinion is condescending. There is
    no place on a democratically elected council for any appointee. Not
    everyone will agree but to carry on when someone expresses an opinion is ridiculous. Expecting any authority to consider those comments breach
    some sort of rule is just nuts.
    Hoskings may well be as complete tosspot, but he's got every right in
    the world to express his opinion as he did.

    Oh dear some-one has an opinion contrary to Liebor.
    If they want to get onto a Council they should stand in the elections
    (actually there are quite a number of Maori councilors who took the
    democratic path to election)
