    Yes we can all agree that the young man thoroughly thanked his prime
    minister. If you click on the picture you get a bigger version that
    could be used for a screen saver or background to a home screen. Will
    there be postcards sold do you think?

    - and this example of the new breed of National MP certainly appears surprisingly physically mature given his reported comments. Such
    however is the nature of our current government - you are welcome to
    look on in awe at the quality of the MPs that New Zealanders voted for
    at the last election . . . Independently minded, mature, a
    self-starter and a future leader - are those not characteristics that
    spring to mind?

    There were changes to the Sale of Liquor Act that meant that some RSAs had to apply for a special licence for ANZAC Day, clearly an oversight in the drafting of the bill. It only affected RSAs that had early services. So the law change did not benefit them, it caused a small but irritating amount of extra paperwork and a possible cost. Hence the entirely appropriate bill.

    Largely, with some exceptions, however the ones that the people rejected certainly didn't reach that level of electable qualities, again with some esceptions.

    Your right Rich. Pity Labours lot are firmly entrenched in the past sucesses
    of Labour and only interested in attack politics these days. Labour and you shuld take lessons from Bell. Might help you both gain a bit of popularity outside of the dinosaur left.
