Although I much prefer the longer form of the game of cricket I have nevertheless come to recognise that the shortest forms (ODI and T20) have played a major part in developing the game and providing important funding. They can also be very exciting.
For those that are not following the current T20 world cup, both our men's and women's teams are in the semi finals. The men play England and the women play the West Indies - both on Wednesday.
Australia are out of the men's competition and there is plenty of justice in that; they are however in the women's semi finals and thoroughly deserve to be there.
