An interesting analysis - too long, but worth perservering with: https://subzpsubzp.blogspot.co.nz/2018/01/farrars-honeymoon-scam_19.html

It shows that National have not l;earned, and disappointingly, that
English is still prepared to voice state, ments that he knows are not
correct - in effect, English is no longer a politician that can be
relied on to at least not say untruths, even if he avoids saying
things that he doesn't want to talk about. In effect, Farrar is
feeding a liar, and many New Zealanders prefer thir politicians
honest. The other lesson from it is that Labour are not wasting time
on this sort of crap - they are too busy getting on with the job of
fulfilling the promise of a better more representative government that
led the three part Green/NZ First to win government, and the previous
    four-part National/ACT/UF/Maori to all lose.

So you have cited an blog article that goes into great detail on DPF.

It shows that National have not l;earned, and disappointingly, that
English is still prepared to voice state, ments that he knows are not
correct - in effect, English is no longer a politician that can be
relied on to at least not say untruths, even if he avoids saying
things that he doesn't want to talk about.

This article is about DPF - with National mentioned no more than
Labour and other political parties. Where is there a connection
between this article and your criticisms of Bill English?

    In effect, Farrar is
feeding a liar, and many New Zealanders prefer thir politicians
    honest.

    See above.

The other lesson from it is that Labour are not wasting time
    on this sort of crap

    Correct.

    - they are too busy getting on with the job of
fulfilling the promise of a better more representative government that
led the three part Green/NZ First to win government,

Incorrect and you perpetuate this myth. The three-part government
came about purely because of two factors:

    - the Greens have consistently ruled out supporting a National-led
    government.

    - Winston Peters, despite a drop in popular support, held the balance
of power and chose to go with Labour.

The current government is most certainly not the expectation of
voters. While National lost 4 of 60 seats and is no longer in
government, Winston lost 2 of 9 seats and is now in government. By a
quirk of statistics Winston got to choose who would lead the current government.

    four-part National/ACT/UF/Maori to all lose.

While National as 4 fewer MPs it still has 10 more than the next most
popular party (Labour). ACT is unchanged. UF (Peter Dunne) retired
and the Maori party did indeed lose all its seats.
