Uneven. There were a few core ideas that worked, such as Marge's concerns about Bart's independence and the classic satirical outlook on the rich (tax avoision techniques and so on). I can roll with the gigantic golf course in the middle of town that no
one's ever noticed before or will ever again, to a point. It didn't really wow me though, and the ending was a mess. By the way, I don't like Caddyshack, but I did appreciate the musical nod (the first time).
DYN:
...Phineas Q. Butterfat's ice cream parlor has rebranded to "PQB's"?

1F14: Bart leads his friends in disappearing into a hedge by pointing out (as the show has several times now) that he saw Homer do it
Hello...
-new voice for Wendell? (or whoever that kid is)
-long after the rest, new voice for Dr. Hibbert? (It's only one line, but it sounds like KMR *now*.)
...and goodbye
Pre-Gracie dedication (maybe one that will stick a little more?) to longtime writer, producer, and occasional voice Marc Wilmore (with a Simpsons-esque caricature, not a screenshot), who apparently died at the end of January. I came to know him first/
best as the one psychologist in BABF18 (It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Marge), with a distinctive delivery on the line "you recently went berserk in a ice cream parlor", and that's basically how I came to recognize the name in other credits, and his brother
Larry when he was brought on The Daily Show. An odd story, maybe, but it really stuck in my head.
At least it wasn't a rain delay
Car race that was scheduled to be over by 7 (ha) didn't end until just after, so naturally it took 15 minutes to wrap up coverage. Because Fox is now running all new shows Sunday nights, and since it actually seems to care about them (cough cough King of
the Hill and Malcolm in the Middle), I think we're in for a lot of delayed airings this spring. Tonight's lineup shift was about 18:45.
