• Notes for QABF05 (Diary Queen) and dedications in QABF01/QABF03 repeats

I like the core idea, that Bart could be inspired to do better by misunderstanding Mrs. Krabappel's diary, and the resolution that Ned knew she did see his potential regardless - but however they did it (painstakingly pasting together words from past
episodes, amazingly apt unused old takes?), I find the "resurrected" voice work a little too eerie, being both too late (over 7 years now) for this to seem like part of the aftermath and grieving process, and too soon to implement a clever reconstruction.
This would have been a lot better without Edna's voice - and also without the (here we go again) sad retrospective ending. (Other parts I could have done without, too, so it still wouldn't have been stellar, but better.)

    Previous episode stuff
8F16: recreated(?) tableau of Edna being "stood up" by Woodrow in montage at end

    Meta whatever
Edna is shown, at the end, watching The Bob Newhart Show, on which Marcia Wallace starred.
Blackboard gag about missing Mrs. K. stuck in at very end.

    New voice cast
I guess Julio is too non-white, or else Hank Azaria forgot how to sing, so here's Mario Jose. Oddly, Hibbert seems to be a holdout still, or else it's a VERY good impression.

Speaking of death (not Maggie, or the cat, or Maggie again): fleeting dedications added to episode RERUNS again!
1/31/21's second airing of QABF01 (Sorry Not Sorry) added a dedication to Larry King (with a screenshot from 2F02).
2/7/21's second airing of QABF03 (A Springfield Summer Christmas for Christmas) added one to Cloris Leachman (with a screenshot from 7F21).
