This could have been pretty enjoyable, but it just didn't feel quite right. Lisa felt fairly out of character when it came to the mitigation videos, the videos themselves weren't quite right, and the resolution with the Welcome Back
Kotter keychain was
almost brilliant but then destroyed with a sledgehammer. A more happy ending would have been neat, but a classic downtrodden Simpson resolution building on that same idea after a longer journey to get there would have been welcome too and better than
this. Oh well. Very short. Also, I really don't think anyone would agree German
is Earth's closest language to Klingon.
DYN:
...there was nothing in the clouds even though it was a typical long-ish opening?
...one of CBG's giant novelty dice is inaccurate (3 and 4 pips on adjacent sides)?
...the waveform below the mitigation video in the editor isn't remotely accurate?
Previous episode stuff
7F21: CBG certainly didn't seem this obsessive about his Radioactive Man #1 way
back when! (It was near mint, at least, at that point, right?)
2F20: Del Toro's repeated references to "Senor Burns" might be a slight nod at the Tito Puente song

Now you see it, now you don't
Last week's second airing of Daddicus Finch (YABF01), predictably, dropped the Ricky Jay dedication, de-compressing the credits back to their typical length. Now you know. Fun additional fact: Ricky was the subject of a clue on Jeopardy a few weeks ago,
in a round with a category about 2018 deaths, but not part of that category.
