• Notes for YABF05 (The Clown Stays in the Picture) but not XABF22 repeat

Ehh. A bit of a miss for Selman. I enjoyed the overall idea of the terrible Dune-like production, but it was really distracted by the Homer and Marge "scandal" that meant nothing and too many cutesy mythology gags. I think 30 years in we might be able to
handle an episode that just... doesn't have the Simpsons in it. I'd take an episode entirely about Krusty. Who, by the way, we might recall was established
as unable to read in the "past". I liked the Buster Keaton house-falling gag.

    DYN:
...past Herman had two arms, past McCallister had two good legs, etc.?
...this was rated TV-14-LSV for some reason?
...Krusty can somehow recall a vision Homer had, while alone, of his three future kids?

    Previous episode stuff
7F06: Homer's gorge fall briefly recreated
    3F24: Homer's desert/coyote theme quoted

I thought them cars went real fast
Yay, football season is over! Time for preemption and delays from other sports!
This Nascar race was supposed to be over by 6:30, but it took forever, and even
though the race itself was over by 7:40 or so, the Simpsons and Bob's Burgers repeats in the 7-
8 hour were completely preempted. In fact, WJW appears to be responsible for messing up a local ad insertion, even though the Fox network feed seemed to be on time for the start of the new episode, so I missed the first 30 seconds or so. Did other
Eastern Timers with the race preemptions see the entire opening? (I was able to
determine because of the credits that the opening was very short, possibly clouds-only, or it might be clouds-couch-no-TV as the last few episodes have been.)

Also, was there anything weird about the 7:00 repeat of Krusty the Clown (XABF22)? I wasn't expecting anything but I did want to see if the weird Halloween/Thanksgiving line two minutes in stayed, as it seemed like a last-minute addition last time. On
the other hand, I'll assume it didn't have anything like...

    Another dedication!
This time, before Gracie logo, it's a rare crew dedication, IN LOVING MEMORY/SIMPSONS PRODUCTION MANAGER/TRISTA NAVARRO, under a cartoon rendering of
her. I assume we won't see that aired again, but then again, the crew ones seem
    more likely to stay put.
