• Notes for YABF02 ('Tis the 30th Season)

Pretty enjoyable holiday episode - though the ending was a little rushed and hard to believe. (Then again, with the episode being incredibly short...) The Florida scenes were all pretty fun and the wrinkle of basing everything on maximizing Marge's
happiness was neat. Also fun to have Jane Lynch back as another character. Well, till the new year...

    DYN:
...it's incredibly reasonable for people to have an antenna (even a rabbit-ears
one) attached to an HDTV, because for those wanting to watch over-the-air TV (or those with it as the only option, or those, like me, who don't want to rely
    on cable boxes
for everything or pay for unnecessary extra ones) the signal has to be tuned by
something, and it even brings in HD signals?
...the new TV is set up in the other room, not in the old one's spot?

    Previous episode stuff
FABF02: Title (though this one doesn't spell out the number), a whopping 15 years later
BABF07: Bart and Lisa sing Silent Night as a distraction for a scheme

    Football timing note
The Eagles/Cowbogs game went into overtime and ended at about 7:52, but they still managed to overrun their GENEROUS time slot, so the rest of the lineup is
about a minute and a half behind. Good grief.

    Set those recordings
For those who care: the last time the Fox network pulled 7G08 (Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire) off the shelf, in 2012, there was at least one shot with an animation coloring goof not present on the season 1 DVD release. Alternate version collectors,
    forewarned is forearmed.

I thought after that spring break episode, they added Florida to states
    they couldn't return to?

I thought the antenna joke was pretty funny, and i have an antenna on my tv as well.
