That's the first film I've watched in IMAX and it will probably be the
last. There's nowt good about the sound being WAY TOO MOTHERFUCKING LOUD.
I've got a right bastard headache now..

The film itself was not disappointing. I don't think any clown will ever be quite as nightmarish as the original Pennywise but this is certainly a much better film, although definitely a kids horror film.

the strange folk at work - a goth girl, a fat girl and a stereotypical
gay guy tried dragging me along to see it.
i recall liking the first part of the miniseries years back and hating
    the second.

If anybody ever read the book all the way thru, SK would be prosecuted for child pornography. Fuck that perv.

And anything would be an improvement over the TV movie.

My reading of him is spotty these days. I liked Under the Dome a lot better than the Under the Dumb miniseries. I liked Dreamcatcher way more than the movie. I liked the Kennedy assassination book. I liked Finders Keepers.
The short story collections have mostly sucked.

Want to read Mr. Mercedes before I watch it.

I get a Stephen King book every Christmas if there's been a new one out
that year. Can't remember the last time I actualy read one. Although I
was tempted by the 'Revival' reviews, I still haven't bothered.

Dr. Sleep and Under The Dome were both really good.

I forgot the Kennedy one. That was REALLY good.

Mr. Mercedes/Finders Keepers/End Of Watch weren't bad, all kept me
    entertained.

I forgot the Kennedy one. That was REALLY good.

I watched the tv adaptation (because i'm too much of a piece of shit to
sit down and read a book every now and then), didn't think much of it at
all. Very surprising to see anything in this day and age that posits the 'oswald acted alone' theory... even in a piece of time-travel fiction i
found that too much of a stretch to suspend disbelief.

The “official” story of 9/11 doesn’t stand up to a moment’s scrutiny.

The hijackers' passports that survived the inferno to turn up in the rubble
    was a nice touch, though.
