    ...the mini-classic short "Recorded Live" (1975)?

    Someone said that N.G. had a similar episode. Can you name it? (I don't really know the show - I was way too young for it when it ended.)

    Anyway, here's "Recorded Live," which was revived on HBO, MANY times, between feature-length movies. Luckily, I was not too young to watch it in the 1980s. Though it certainly terrified many younger children, many of those kids KEPT watching it, over and
    over!

    The star, John Goodwin (this was his debut as an actor), is better known now as a makeup artist for "CSI."

    I can't say if Night Gallery had a similar episode but the short did
    remind me of shorts by Sam Raimi and his friends. Not necessarily
    subject matter wise, but the look and use of stop motion.

    Did you notice the director? S.S. Wilson, who worked on the TREMORS series.
