A serial killer, played by Vince Vaughn, swaps bodies with an
introverted high schooler played by Kathryn Newton in this horror
comedy. Think a cross between FREAKY FRIDAY and FRIDAY THE 13th. The
filmmakers are very much aware of the tropes of the horror genre and
have a lot of fun with them. Vaughn is especially good at acting like he
    is a teenage girl.

    Recommended.

Part of this weird cycle of ironic millennial horror comedies that it
hurts to admit are quite entertaining. HAPPY DEATH DAY and its sequel,
THE BABYSITTER and its sequel and FREAKY... all films i've put on
expecting to be utter shite and have had to concede to having enjoyed on
a basic level. They seem to be nailing that TCM2 vibe better than most
films of the last few decades.

I haven't gotten around to watching HAPPY DEATH DAY yet but should
    remedy that.

THE BABYSITTER is a fantastically hip, meta, and above all else
entertaining watch. The sequel, not so much. I don't know what mojo it
is missing but it just doesn't capture the magic like the original.

    Andrew

    Vaughn's performance makes this one.

Haven't watched any of these but sounds like I should.
