Picked this one up recently as an upgrade from my old Image EntertainmentDVD.
We all know the story, bunch of former Vietnam vets played by John Saxon, John Morghen and Tony King get a taste for human flesh and go on the rampagein Atlanta.
The new Blu-Ray from Kino Lorber is exceptionally crisp and clear, socard.
much so, that the difference between the Vietnam stock footage at the beginning and the scenes from the film that are intercut with them is
very noticeable, but aside from that its a wonderful print.
Extras wise, it contains most of the same features from the old Image
DVD. A making-of with interviews with the cast and crew, a film location tour, a couple of trailers and an alternate intro, which is basically the same as the regullar intro, but with an "Invasion of the Flesh Eaters" title
But, new to this release you also get an audio commentary with filmthis point.
historian Tim Lucas, who provides and effective "Trivia track" for the
film, and there's a new interview with Tony King.
All in all a very nice release, it is a Region A Blu-Ray though, so

Similarly, the previous Image DVD used the more common intro with the Chinooks. However, I noticed the new Blu-Ray uses the alternate scenethere.
with the Hueys taking off. Just a minor point for all you nitpickers out
