From the director or RAIN MAN (I have removed him from the newsgroup) this (kind of) found footage stitches together various diegetic video sources
with a wikileaks narrator to tell the covered-up story of an eco-disaster
-hit small American town.
I liked it. The combination of cctv, dash-cam, skype conversations etc,
gives a lot more variety than the usual shaky-cam found-footage movie and a
bit more believability - we get through the whole film with only a single conversation along the lines of "why are you still filming, put the camera away". In some ways it reminded me of one of those novels that combine letters, newspaper articles and what-not to tell the story.
Plus it's short - which is always a positive - and vaguely believable.
As per Andy's review my one complaint was the dopey recap-flashbacks of previous events like we're coming back from the ad-break on a History
Channel documentary and we're worried the Americans will have forgotten what happened 10 minutes ago.
SPOILER
I knew as soon as they mentioned the tongue had been eaten it would be one
of those fucking fish louse things. Glad I didn't see the poster before-
hand because it's a pretty big spoiler of that.
