From another article about the study which reads like it was translated
to English:
'Colleagues scrivner interviewed 310 people in the age from 18 to 72
years of what movies they prefer, whether looking for information about epidemics and how they were ready to Covid-19, if faced with anxiety, depression, irritability or insomnia during epidemics. As it turned out,
the crisis, they experienced a fairly quiet. In this pathological
curiosity correlated with great interest to watching scary/supernatural, mystery/Thriller and a movie about epidemics and viruses. While this
type of curiosity was not associated with viewing romantic Comedy or
adventure films.'
Seems that we are less depressed and sleep better than our non-horror
loving brethren.
