    1987!

Film that holds up and reonates better today than when I first viewed it back then!!

Brooding atmospheric mystery with a convoluted plot which will remind you of the Jeffrey Epstien/Ghislaine Maxwell follies!!

Tom Hulce carries the film and he should have been a bigger star!!

Virginia Madson sizzled here and she should have been a bigger star!!

Only drawbsck is the unconvincing John Doe who plays maybe the screen villain with the least amount of body weight in film history(he beats out "Don't Look Now's" demonic dwarf by 8 grams)!!

Give this one another shot if you slammed this dance the first time around, baby!!

1987 was the last year I followed movies closely. I remember the ad "this ain't
about dancing" but like most indy films, even just 20 miles from Hollywood in the SGV there wasn't any place nearby to see something like this.

I first saw this in the tape-trading days (that opened me up to foreign giallo & exploitation).
