I was just about to watch this when I realised it was made by the same
people who made the execrable HEX which was the worst film I saw in 2018. However, I decided to persevere and was surprised to find that it's not entirely crap. It's not good, but is a massive leap ahead in terms of
plot, cinematography and acting. If it wasn't for the weak ending, it may
have partially lived up to its DEAD MAN'S SHOES Vs THE WICKER MAN
comparison.
