i like to think i'm in control of my emotions but damn,
this evening had a meal at my brother's house alongside my parents,
we knew this would be the last one for a while, my niece and nephew
where oblivious, having fun, singing and dancing to their echo playlist
while the adults tried to have normal conversations.
just before leaving, the playlist starts blasting out 'don't you worry
about a thing' from sing, it summed things up nicely.
then, a hug to my brother and my aged parents (the ones we really hope
don't get it) and then back home.
tough old me actually feels rather choked up just thinking about it, no
sunday lunch visits to the parents for a while, no brother visits.

why can't the whole world just hide for a month - that would do the
trick in the main.

Have you missed to constant pleas from medical professionals to stay away
from old people? You might aswell have RAPED THEIR DEAD MOUTHS.

If the coffin-dodgers kept out of the way, we could all just go on as
normal. Although I was hoping for lockdown this weekend - my NHS badge will
get me wherever I want and I'll be straight up to the lakes. Can hardly
imagine the beauty of the place minus the ten million piss-soaked doddery
old TEA SHOP MONKEYS.
